Seek the Lost this Easter
March 24th, 2009
Easter is the most important time of the year for the Christian.
It’s a time to remember the death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary. A time to reflect on His shed blood which covers all our sins. A time to rejoice on His victory over death and Hell, and a time to remember that we serve a risen Saviour.
It is also a time to remember why Jesus Christ came to earth – to seek and to save that which was lost!
At Metropolitan Baptist Church we’re excited about what the Lord is doing in the world today. Lives are being changed and souls saved through the message of God’s living Word.
Join us this Easter for our traditional Good Friday worship service at 10.15am on April 10 and Resurrection Sunday services at 10.15am and 6pm on April 12.
On Monday, April 13, the annual Country Carnival will be held at Blackman Park, Lane Cove from 11am.
Come along and fellowship with God’s people and participate in the games or the jumping castle.
As Pastor of Metropolitan Baptist Church I invite you to join us in 2009 as we seek to win souls for God’s Kingdom.
