Where would we be without the Word of God?

Did you know there is only one reliable source in the entire world that can tell you who God is and what God is like?

The Holy Bible is that source! The Bible is God's instruction book to man. It tells us who He is, shows us what He is like, tells us where we came from and why we are here.

Matthew wrote: "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

US president Abraham Lincoln made this statement concerning the Scriptures: "By this book we could know right from wrong. I believe the Bible is the best gift God has ever given to man."

Quite simply, where would we be without the Word of God?

During June at Metropolitan Baptist Church our desire is to revive our love for the Word of God- the preserved Word of God in the King James Bible.

Throughout the ages men have tried time and again to destroy the Word of God and failed. We live in a wicked world today because people have neglected the Word of God.

During June at Metropolitan Baptist Church our desire is to revive our love for the Word of God- the preserved Word of God in the King James Bible.

Discover or re-discover the joy of sweet fellowship with God through his holy Word this month.

June is also a busy month of activities for Metro with the Church Camp June 27-29 a highlight.

As Pastor of Metropolitan Baptist Church I invite you to join us in 2008 as we seek revival.
