Tis the Season to be busy
December should rate as the most exciting month of the year for every Christian.
It's a time when your relatives, your neighbours, and even your workmates are thinking about the meaning of Christmas.
This month, above all, provides the perfect opportunity to share Christ with others.
It is definitely not the time to put the feet up and look for a holiday. It's a time to get busy for the Lord.
If you miss the chance to share Christ with a loved one this Christmas it could well be another twelve months before you get another chance.
After a wonderful week of Graduation meetings at Metropolitan Baptist Church we are full swing into sharing Christ with others.
Soul-winning continues until December 22, Life Stages All Aged Sunday School until December 8 and a host of other Christmas activities have been arranged.
Our biggest community event of the year will be held on Sunday, December 23 at 6pm. It is our traditional Carol Service at Cullen Street Reserve.
Last year Lane Cove residents came out in force to share in the caroling with our church family. This year we are expecting an even bigger response.
The children will be entertained by a special Kingdom Kids puppet show while there will be plenty of traditional carols and a Christmas message.
Our traditional Christmas Day service will be held at 9.15am on THE day.
