Did you know?

Missions has always played a major role in the life of Metro with the first Missions Conference in 1975 raising over $7000 for the cause of Christ and missions.

Metropolitan Baptist Church has a theme in 2008 as a church family. It is "Revive Me O Lord".

Church Goals for 2008

Teach Scripture Classes in public schools – Mark 10:14
Maximize special monthly events (Big Days) – Revelation 3:7
Train more Life Stage teachers – 2 Timothy 2:2
Prayer Meeting for Revival & Soul-winning – 2 Chronicles 7:14
Bible College Ministry - raise further financial support – Phil 4:15-19
Update and approve new church constitution – Jude v.3
Church growth spiritually & numerically – John 15:1-16

Church family member goals

Personal revival in each of our lives – Psalm 85:6
Read the whole bible in a year, 1 Proverb & 2 Psalms per day – Joshua 1:8
Win & disciple one - Matthew 28:18-20
Increase our faith in missions giving – 2 Corinthians 8&9
Fast & pray once a month for national revival – Mark 9:29
